Speaker: Bill Welker

Bill Welker is a former Pinecrest student, teacher, and conference speaker. He has pastored several churches, traveled to several countries, and is a Bible teacher. Bill and his wife, Joan, live in Alpharetta, Georgia. 

When Bill was a student at Pinecrest in the early 1970’s, a prophet visited the school and made a comment he will never forget.  Bill says, “I do not remember his message, but in passing he said, ‘If you want to know what is close to the heart of the Lord and means so much to Him, study Bethany. Bethany was the place where the Lord spent a lot of time at the home of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus.’”

Bill will be sharing on the various passages where Bethany is mentioned and how they relate to the Lord’s desire for our lives. The “hope of His calling” is to raise up local assemblies in the earth that embody all that Bethany represents.
